Girvan Community Garden

Become a volunteer with us

The community garden is always happy to welcome new faces.  There are plenty of different volunteering opportunities available.  As a Girvan Community Garden volunteer you will have opportunities to:

  • Support the work and development of the garden
  • Develop your skills and knowledge
  • Gain experience to add to your CV and improve job prospects
  • Improve your health and well-being
  • Use your skills to benefit the local community
  • Take part in workshops and training
  • Meet new people and make friends

The work you could be involved with ranges from helping maintaining the garden all the year round and basic horticulture to wood work, volunteering your time at events or administrative work.

You can come along to the garden and speak to us.  We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

For more information about any of these opportunities or if you have skills you might like to share with others or would like to offer your help with garden events please contact Julie Campbell, Volunteer Coordinator.
